PREVENTING HOMELESSNESS

Year: 2016
Service design project at Policy Lab, Cabinet Office, UK.

The aim of the project is to understand why people become and remain homeless. Also to co-design and test possible solutions. We worked with film ethnographers closely and turned the findings into insights.

In this project, I organised the ideas from co-design and turn them into several idea cards and prototypes. The aim of these was to test and validate with local authorities, related service providers, and end users.

Digital Products for Lifetime Learning

Year: 2016
Service design project at Policy Lab, Cabinet Office, UK.

The aim of the project was to identify the commonality and difference between various digital products that are being developed by different departments within the government. Also, we needed to understand how different users might experience the products. By doing this, we can help them build more specific products and avoid duplicating similar services that might get people confused. We carried out a workshop that can help break down the silos between different departments.

After the workshop, we did a report alongside some infographics that compares different issues between those digital products, and identifies existing gaps. Employees from the different departments who participated in the workshop reported it very useful for them.
